One of my students who was more or less clueless most of the time (you expect to pass my pre-calculus class with more than 20 absences?) did the expand joke. I got a good laugh out of it & gave him a point. I'd have been more entertained if it was original, but he admitted to having seen the joke online. "Wow, good memory. Too bad you didn't remember that I did that EXACT same problem during review 3 days before the exam."
