Yeah, that's a decent list. Shawshank Redemption, Appleseed, Akira, Goodfellas, Scarface are all also up there.

Damn straight. A perfect little movie. Sometimes you can capture the whole of the human condition in but a beautifully rendered little vignette. It was, and is, awesome and true.

Crossroads is probably #1. After that, it's tough to say...

End of Days is a great movie. Mostly it was the dialogue and the great effects that drew me in.
I gotta go with Baked and say Glitter. Wonderfully likeable movie (i guess great minds think alike)
 
I think this is one question that I'll never be able to answer definitively...but off the top of my head, Tokyo Story, Citizen Kane and Star Wars. (one of these things is not like the other...)

3. Clear and Present Danger

I find recent films lack creativity and are only remakes of predecessors. I believe that Hollywood's movie industry is managed by those with MBA's and that money is the bottom line. They're afraid to take a chance on truly creative films that may excel. They go for cheap, crappy remakes.
