Even when I set a site to Trusted I keep getting this damn error almost every time I try to download something. Now its the Nokia PC Suite from NokiaUSA.
Been using Chrome to get around it, and while I like Chrome I dont think I should be required to use it whenever I wanna get something.

As a first step, try going to the Advanced tab in Internet Options and click the Reset... button to reset all Internet Explorer settings to their defaults. Any good?

Has your computer always done that, or is it a recent development? What versions of Windows and IE are you running?

I'm not sure which solution, if any, will work for you, but the most likely solutions seem to be near the bottom.
I already played with the custom settings a long time ago, thats how I got everything working correctly in the first place.
Tried the other things, they didnt do it either.
I have not done any updates or new software installs in a long time, yet this problem developed very recently.

Am running XP Pro with SP3, and have been for a while. Also been using IE8 for a while. I dont do any automatic updates and havent done a manual in a little while. I could try seeing what updates I have available, but I am convinced this is a setting issue.

No dice.
I got a bunch of misc. little updates from Microsoft and nothing worked. Guess I'll be using Chrome a lot more.

You might try uninstalling & reinstalling IE8 if you want to pursue it further, too.
