With the Financial Crisis that we are having now, what is your credit score? Why is it that score? And will it stay the same?

I think you need to start by going to the FICO website and reading up on how the FICO score is calculated. That will answer your 2nd and 3rd questions.

Just want to have people be able to speculate.

On a side note, if you don't want to reveal your credit score, that's fine. You don't have to. Don't feel obligated.

I have no idea. I don't expect to be using any new credit within the next few decades so it really doesn't interest me.

Agreed. They told WaMu to fuck off last week, Wachovia fucked off this week. Who's next?

last time I looked was in 2005 when my wife and I bought a house. For some reason hers was 811 and mine was 799, funny because, just because of happenstance, I'm sure more stuff is in my name than hers.

711, just paid off and closed 2 long term credit accounts so it may be lower now.

When I bought my car 792. I've cleared all of my CC debt since then (besides gas charges, which I pay minimum until it reaches ~150 dollars or so) to keep my cards open.

I dont know if it went lower because of my car loan, or if it went higher from clearing my CCs...

do they you give you a credit score with a free credit report??? ...typically credit scores aren't free (unless you sign for some monitoring or something).
