I have this old cup warming plate my mum used when she was in College, it spent 99% of its life jammed into a small box in the basement crawlspace, been circulated through countless garage sales and ended up in a 'to be tossed out' box, which accidentially was mixed up with my things when I moved to Ottawa. Tonight I was cleaning my ap. and tripped on something, landed on this box crushing most everything inside. Only thing salvageable was this thing and a food processor, which I have used to make a smoothie and the warming plate is warming my tea right now.

And yes that is the most exciting thing thats happened to me all day.

The warming plate is also good for putting candles on for that fresh scent, without the hazard of an open fire. The candle melts.

what defines a gadget? does it have to be electronic? well anyway..

my vew-do balance board (http://www.vew-do.com) .. its this skateboard looking thing that fits into a cylinder sitting horizontal on the ground and you balance on it while moving back and fourth... its really a lot more fun than it sounds.

hmm.

My 1936 Briggs and Stratton Model Y.

I guess that would be a "gadget".
