the only reason i finally know is cuz of samurize. is there any other way in WinXP i can see how long the computer has been running without installing a 3rd party app?

My machines that I have here:

Windows desktop at work:
\\P2101DCASCR has been up for: 8 day(s), 17 hour(s), 32 minute(s), 15 second(s)

OS X laptop:
10:06AM up 6 days, 15:05, 3 users, load averages: 0.67, 0.31, 0.26
 
linux machine: 2 days 21 hrs. Had to reboot 2 days ago because I need to go into Windows to burn CDs.

windows: 14 hours. That damn ZMatrix thing crashed my video driver, methinks I might need to replace the card since updating driver doesn't solve the problem.
 
My server was on for 46 days straight at one point.

Now its:

13:18:35 up 8 days, 5:43, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
 
Windows: 18 days 6 hours and 13 minutes
Linux: 53 days, 24 hours and 4 minutes .... 53 days ago the power went out for like an hour .. and the UPS I have only stays up for like 20 minutes ... so I was forced to shut it down. My record is about 180 days ... I tend to like to install new distros or upgrade the hardware from time to time ... hopefully since I've upgraded to a cheapo dell server with mandrake 9.1 I won't need to reboot or upgrade for a year or two.
 
longest was 21 days with WinXP. Currently only 3 hours because I have bad video stuff installed (bad codec or something).
 
My server was up for over 180 days running clark connect.

Then I decided to upgrade to 1.2 now Uptime (in days) 47.8 😉

No restarts since I installed it😀

My XP boxes usually get shutdown in the evening.

Ummmm.... lag after time??? I think Microsoft would be bankrupt if their server OSes had issues like that.
