Your computer, is it a Dell refurb?

I have three and a half computers. Two are built from individual components, one is an IBM T40 laptop I use for work, and the last is a MB/proc/videocard that's just sitting around doing nothing. None are Dell refurbs.

YES T40! 😀

No. I build all my own desktops, I've looked at the Outlet's laptop listings, but never bought one.

Said the man who needed a script to help him find one. 😀

I am using a Dell now. I looked a few times at Dell refurbish site and didn't see any hot deals. I may get one if there is a very hot deal. Know any good deal?

Yes I bought a Dell refurb for $1100 US in Summer 2003 with these specs, which was spectacular for its time:

Pentium 2.8C, 512MB DDR400, 120GB HDD, Radeon 9800, DVD-ROM, DVD+R/RW, WinXP Home

(I saved about $400 off retail price, plus free shipping)

Since then I've added another 512MB and a 6800GT and another 160GB HDD, and it's still great.

Dissapointed, Rossman.

A man of your hot-deal stature aught to have an xps 600 with a dual core and SLI's 7800 GTX's that you bought for <$1200.

This was my WIFE's PC, the most demanding application she uses is this game (which is quite fun BTW).
