Young Steve Jobs

Remember that movie, "Pirates of Silicon Valley"?. It had Noah Wyle as Steve Jobs and Anthony Michael Hall as Bill Gates. It wasn't so bad.

The thing that makes me like apple the most is htat they make it easy to enjoy computing.

Yeah, we know volumes that would say otherwise, but kids, and grandmas and such, they are great forms of entertainment.

Learned computing on both IBMs and Macs, and will always remember KidPix oregon Trail, and others🙂

heh, that was the year I was born. It's a little ironic that the technology used to watch that video was so far ahead of what it they were introducing.

I just thought it was kind of funny 😛 "Everything you see on screen was generated by what's in that bag" "NO WAI!".

well, he emphasized before they began the presentation that everything you would see was generated by the computer. the thought ran through my mind "wow, if they could see us now... watching their presentation on a computer" when the most visually impressive thing they showed was a grayscale image of steve jobs.

Not poking fun, just a contrast from then till now.

Oh. I thought somehow you were implying that the presentation was faked. Like, the technology used to present the "video" in the presentation was required to be more advanced than what that computer could handle.

Classic Jobs Presentation, no one in technology delivers like Steve.

Magician at work

Remind me of the good old time when Mac first came out in 1984.

The last product steve jobs ever released agian with out being the snobby bastard he is today...
Have to say, impressive, especially for it's time, doesn't mean it's the first gui though😉

Impressive, esp. since he was 28 years-old going on 29 at the time.

He is still the same great presenter today, although his appearance has changed quite a bit.

notice the annual salary of $1 and net worth of $3 billions; is that 50 cents each from Apple and Pixar? 😉
