No. I could understand watching it once, maybe twice, but all day? Didn't get any shiny new Blu Rays this morning?

WIN. Thank you so much. My wife is looking over my shoulder shrieking "NO!" as we speak....

Let her suffa! Until you walk out of the room, then she'll break it. It's only tradition.

BTW, saw it twice in the last 12 hours. I'm good until July/August.

Actual house. It's like looking at your childhood home:

I saw somebody in Walmart a few days ago with a Red Rider BB gun in their shopping cart. Perhaps they haven't seen the movie....or they felt the kid should've gotten it anyway for Christmas in spite of the whole "you'll put an eye out" thing.

a childhood of being forced to watch that movie multiple times every Christmas by teachers who'd rather pop in a tape than teach pretty much ruined the movie for me :(

Not yet, but will soon. Watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, however. That's awesome, as well.

I watched parts of that movie and it didn't seem like something I'd enjoy. Never seen the whole thing.

Nope - saw it once a long time ago - that was enough for me. I dunno - xmas every year seems to come earlier and be more commercialized each year [I swear they were playing Xmas music and had decorations up for sale the day after Halloween this year]

It's a great movie. It's amazing how little things have actually changed. Well, at least for the pre-2000s generations. This is what xmas was about when you were a kid. Pure, unadulterated greed. Anybody who says different is a saint or a lier.
