At about 2pm yesterday I felt a strange pain on the left side of my body; A very acute and somewhat painful pulsating. I was with my Dad and he started freaking me out saying that it could be my heart. It was hard to tell if I was experiencing a little discomfort when breathing because I was nervous and such, and when I had attempted to calm down I would feel intermittent pain and soreness. My doc office was booked :roll: so I got a ride to a local ER. I got there at about 4:10pm, got an EKG after about an hour, and was finally admitted sometime during the newest Episode of ?house? LOFL which was on one of the ER waiting from TVs😀
Basically, I was in really discomfort now. I felt that something was prodding what felt to be my lung from the back and random pain when I would exhale and deflate my lung. After blood work and an XRAY they determined that my chest wall or some muscle around there either got pinched or was pinching. At about midnight I felt some serious pain (serious) pain at the same spot, like a st@bbing sensation or something?.really painful. The docs finally diagnosed me saying that everything pointed to muscle problems whereby something was pinching them, be it a rid or something. Funny thing is that they shot me up with a bunch of beds (valium and some others IIRc?not really😉 )and it still hurt, but eventually subsided and was relegated to a very general soreness.
Right now my top left side feels like I got checked by a linebacker, but hopefully I?ll be better really soon. The thing is, since it is rib-related, everytime I breathe it is still uncomfortable?
I thank my lucky stars that it wasn?t anything worse, even though this is still annoying.
