I am truly realizing that I really have no control over when i am going to get a woman or if I will even.

Basically if I try too hard I'll make myself look desperate, or maybe ill make it look like I want a girl too badly. So finally I am realizing that the only way to get a girl is by accident. you have to just live life normally and maybe one of the girls that you become friends with (and you become friends with her because you were looking for a friend not a girlfriend)
you might later decide you are interested in,

but basically i've learned you can't be on the prowl,and you basically have to give up control over the situation.

maybe trying to force control over the situation would work and get you a girlfriend, but i dont think it would put you in a relationship that would be worthwhile.

Therefore I give up. The white flag is raised. Sorry for pestering you guys for so long and being an idiot and not seeing things for the way they actually are.

I hope not to bother you guys anymore about girl questions. Because if I am bothering you, thats only proof that I havent let go, and that I'm still chasing girls like a moron. I need to stop chasing and start living.

no, the point is not to chase girls when you have not very much experience... because *that* is painful and not very productive. there are some things in life that are just easier if you take it slow and let things naturally happen first, gaining experience along the way, rather than rushing into a situation your not prepared for.

Good job. I came to the same realization about 2 years ago.

I still don't have a girl friend, and doubt I ever will, but I'm no longer depressed. I enjoy life more, am doing better in school, and feel better about myself.

And you're right, nobody likes complainers

yea, the phrase "let 'em come to you" sounds funny. Girls dont ever come to anyone, they are too scared to make a move.

the other part that is frustrating is that in theory you are right. once you've had one girlfriend in your life, its way easier to go out there and get more girlfriends. the first one you have to get by accident, and the rest you can hunt down afterwards to keep yourself happy.

all them lucky punks who have already had their first girl by accident.. grrrr....
