But in a couple of years such displays will come into mass production and the price will certainly start dropping.

OLED will be here for small devices, but monitors made with OLED's won't arrive all that soon.

I point you to an article from Xbitlabs on CRT, LCD and OLED. Here

But if it does work out, and with around 80 companies working on it, there is promise, it should be great.
 
Very nice, I want to see OLED in PDAs as soon as possible b/c I think they will benefit a lot from them.

Think about it, color PDAs that can go for days w/o recharging!

ditto on the "i hate sony"

 
2005 is when i expected. if they go into production spring next year, we wont see much til 2006. or 2010 for high DPI displays.
