Inverters with the capability to start a PCR tin can in a window shaker would not run off an auto electrical system even if a second battery was affitted. Inverters of this caliber are 48VDC+ in. LRA even on a small (6000 btu/h) shaker is going to be 30+A at 120VAC. In lower latitudes this will never sufficiently cool the cabin of a mid sized sedan either. Most auto a/c capacities are over 24,000 btu/h!
