Technology keeps rolling. Now if they can make the internet more reliable and faster...course...that is coming too.
 
Spidey...we always make stuff that's not an official spec before the spec is available. If it wasn't done that way, we'd be way behind. (look at ISL vs. 802.1Q trunking...or HSRP vs. VRRP...or the inline power for IP phones, etc. etc.) It's just good business 🙂

Gee, only $80K for a single blade on a switch. What a bargain! Lessee. I can take a 16-port gig module, run it through a DWDM on a single pair to the same on another end. 16 Gig E for a quarter the price! *grin*
