Anyone have a YT channel and creates content? How does the comment feature work? i.e. What channel owner/admin options or controls are provided for moderation, screening, black lists, flagging, removing or approving comments on your videos? TIA

Why don't you just try it? Create a channel. A few Google accounts and off you go.

Because I'm trying to understand how community comments are moderated, what options are provided to the channel creator vs. what is imposed system wide by YT. I don't want to create content.

I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a creator but do have a channel. I don't play in that interface that often but in the Youtube Studio there are options to delete comments, and also see them all in one shot (ex: rather than go to each video). Youtube sometimes also flags comments as spam or inappropriate and you can choose to allow them or not if it was a mistake. They show up under "for review". In general there aren't all that much options though, like I don't think you can block people or certain type of comments but you can report them. There's also an option to hide user from channel. I assume they'll still be able to comment but no one will see it.

As a total random note there's an "insider" video showing up about a change to the impersonation policy, and the guy in the thumbnail kind of looks like me if I had short hair. That's actually pretty funny.
