Obviously this new policy of arresting people for taking a BIG crap is part of Ashcrofts war on terrorism---I think the concept is that you somehow are hiding explosives in your feces and if the feces is large enough, perhaps a smart bomb! Mon Dieu--what are we coming to!

If the draft gets reinstituted he could write an updated version of Alice's Restaurant. A far more serious charge than littering.

I'd pay to be on the jury if this ever went to trial (since its federal there is no chance of it being televised).

Even funnier that they were perfectly 'legal' to be in posession of alcohol until they got to the border.

LOL! got arrested for takin a dump and cloggin toilets, if that was a truly enforced law, i would've been arrested at Newark Liberty Airport for my incredibly large dump (which after four flushes i managed to get down), at Ben Gurion Airport for my diarhea paper towel deluxe (had no luck with that one, poor toilet), and at Tampa International Airport for pissing on the seat on accident, damn, are cops really running out of things to do today?

The border crossing itself may be in exclusive federal jurisdiction (like most military installations).

In any case, I think this is a crock of sh!t (pun intended), and it's ridiculous to waste a federal magistrate's time with such a stupid charge, assuming that whatever clogged the toilet really was just fecal matter.
