Here we go...

An expecting father is pacing back and forth in the waiting room at the hospital.

He's not all that nervous about the delivery itself (he's already had 5 previous children), he's nervous that this one too will be HORRIBLY DEFORMED like the others!

After a long wait, the Doctor finally walks into the room. With a look of consternation, he tells the man that it's NOT good news. With building anxiousness and nerves the man follows the Doctor to his wife and new child.

The child is wrapped in blankets in it's Mother's arms. The man walks up to it and uncovers the blankets to see...

He is so shocked and horror stricken that he almost faints

Doctor: Yes, I'm sorry. Your wife has given birth to a 7 pound EYEBALL.
Man: OH DEAR GOD! What could possibly be worse!!!
Doctor: It's BLIND.

The point of the joke is the fact that the wife gave birth to an Eyeball. What's the one POSSIBLE good thing about being a huge eyeball?...Then the Doctor says it's BLIND.

All this joke signifies is that you've either got a 'twisted' sense of humor...Or you don't.
