You think I fried my motherboard?

Was playing around with a firewire card in my HTPC, when I plugged in a device the computer immediatly powered off (not shut down, just lost power). Tried turning it back on, and it beeps..... No video, doesn't boot. Opened up the computer noticed the firewire card came loose, the idiot in me didn't screw it in.

So should I troubleshoot or just buy a new mobo?

How would you troubleshoot this anyways>?

Start from the begining and just use the cpu/ram/vid card/PS trick and see if it powers up.
