See sig. 😛

But you're right. I just wanted to point out that it wasn't the variable height suspension that was banned, only the specific implementation that Citroen used. It would have been possible to both meet the bumper regulations and have a variable-height suspension, Citroen's design just didn't allow that.

When I had the car serviced the where some repairs made. Two gas-bells were exchanged, after 180 000 km, but that is like changing shock absorbers i imagine. The car is not complicated to repair really, the problem is that not many mechanics know anything about them. In the 1970-ies Citroen was bought by Peugot (an another French automaker) and since then most parts, like engines, are the same as Peugot's. (which is very conventional cars)
The hydraulic system rarely makes trouble, the most problems are elektrical actually.
Recently some statistic declared the Citroen Xantia (another modell, a bit smaller than mine) as one of the most reliable cars produced!

Well I wish more car brands would license the system from Citroen or build their own.
There is some really cool things to do with it, for example there is the the activa, which does'nt lean in corners!

I'm thinking of getting me one of those, turn up the turbo boost and kick some ass at the circle track 🙂
