Excellent movie. My teenager liked it, but he was also playing his nintendo DS while watching. These kids with their attention span . . .

For the same reason we watch movies on tv with commercials even though we own the DVD and it is sitting on the shelf less than 10 feet away. We can't help ourselves.

My wife pisses me off that way. She would rather waste all the commercial time watching cable as opposed to watching the dvd...

Europeans are not as squirmish about nudity. Violence however, is rated harsher than NA nudity rating.
 
I myself never seen nor heard of this movie till two days ago. And really the only reason I though to watch it was to find out why there way a nude dude on a motor tickle in the picture for the movie, figured naked man on a bike, thats gotta be funny, and it was from begging to end. It never would of been a movie I would of watched, but the part that made me keep watching it was the very begging with the lottery. I play it all the time, my wife thinks im nuts, but it was a common ground we come to. I quit smoking, she buys my balls 🙂
And that begging is exactly something I would do to my wife if I wanted her to bring something to me and she was in one of her moods 😀

From there on out the movie just was as good all the way through, "I thought they were his intestines" Oh I was in stitches during that part with my wife.

This one has now become my favorite "sleeper" movie. I just had to share it after watching it 🙂🙂🙂
 
Meh. I saw it a long time ago when it was getting good reviewed while in theaters. Found it mildly entertaining at best.

As for commercials go, cant get no less when there is like 6-8 of them 15-30 seconds long, one at a time vs 20 or so at a time 10-15 of them during a program on cable. I love to watch stuff on line, grab netflix for $9 a month, and the ability to watch all other shows and movies on the internet, you no longer need sat or cable tv IMO.
 
I saw it in theater. I remember after the end, credits were rolling, and some elderly people got up to leave. One of them, an old man, exclaimed "That movie sucked!"
 
Great movie. The theater around the street from my house had it running for about 6 months straight when it was released. They did the same thing with the Secret of Roan Inish (which was not a good movie, at least as I remember it... still saw it three times cause there was nothing to do).

I saw it a long time ago too but thought the film was good.
