So I finally got a Smartboard. Got it on eBay for $71. Unfortunately, it is a Mac one, so the control and alt keys are different. It is worth it though, to be able to type painlessly and quickly. In case you didn't look at the link, the keys are aligned with finger movement, instead of staggered like a 19th century typewriter! I had one of these a year ago, but I spilled tea or something in it, left it plugged in, and it broke. I've been on the waiting list at data-desk.com for 6 months, but they still are not receiving them from the factory, so I had to get one on eBay.

My favorite features:
Keys aligned logically, instead of traditionally.
Mechanical keyswitches, not membrane.
USB ports on the back (yes, like an MS Natural)
Larger outer keys that actually encourage me to use my pinkies now.
Big delete key

My not so favorite features:
Printscreen(F13) doesn't work (It's shift+/) because it's the Mac version.
Control and alt keys are in the wrong place (control and option) because it's the Mac version. Getting used to it though.

Next step: Learn Dvorak.

Btw, this keyboard is endorsed by the world's fastest typist!!

Hmm, I've gone as fast as 165wpm on typing tests, but the tests weren't 18 minutes long. Maybe I should go for a record? :)

Fat people find these type of keyboards the most useful, cause their arms have to go around their stomachs. Skinny people don't seem to notice the difference.
