You're doing it backwards.

I generally don't put oil in with bacon (just slap it on the old cast iron skillet) and its not like there's enough bacon grease to fry hash browns with. Also, this way you don't smother the bacon with oil (its easy to go overboard with oil that has a strong flavor). Although if you could, a spritz of it would work well for cooking bacon.

I hope the grease is saved and used to cook the eggs and the steak. (bacon is delicius, but if you are gonna have breakfast, you might as well have a steak and a shitload of eggs too!)

Fuckin' right! I always cook my eggs in whatever grease is left over from the meat I'm cooking. (usually sausage)
