You Make The Call...

These were when the broadcast would go to commercial and show a questionable football play and then ask like.."was it or wasn't it a TD?.. YOU MAKE THE CALL!" then they'd show how the ref's called it a few commercials later.

Why doesn't the NFL do these anymore during commercial time? I used to LOVE those just to see how bad the ref messed up or see something weird.

Why would the NFL advertise the mistakes of THEIR OWN referees? It doesn't reflect well onto the league.
Because it's fun, and because sh1t happens. It's ridiculous how everyone complains about refs today. They're freaking human. It's a tough game to call. Get over it.

It's awfully touch to forgive them when they blow calls in a huge playoff game ie, Giants/49ers '03, Raiders/Patriots '02, Bucs/Skins '06..etc.

It wasn't about bad calls per say, but close calls. You'd see the play and have to make the call. Then the result would be shown a few commercials later. I think the NHL had these too but haven't seen them for a few years either.

in '03 there was no pass interference i was at the game....you'll never convice me there was pi the 49ers deserved a call after getting screwed by the refs the whole game......

in '02 he raiders should have never been in that position they blew it...they still had plenty of chances to end the game...chokers...

don't remember what happened in the '06 game....
