When I take selfies, some times they say these. Thing is I don't feel like smiling much times. I don't like to fake it. Why do I have to smile? What's wrong with straight face even if it looks a little negative? Why do people tell me these things? I don't even like my smile that much
 
You're doing it wrong. You're supposed to make duck lips when taking a selfie.

I don't smile much anymore and it takes too much damn effort and energy to fake it. The only time I smile is so I don't appear threatening or when I see a cutie.

You don't have to smile, of course, but the way you present yourself to the world can influence the quality of your interactions. A more positive facial expression, which doesn't necessarily include a smile (although such is customary in the US) can help interactions proceed in a more favorable manner. The people giving you advice are most likely trying to be helpful.
 
I try not to smile either. I got a weird smile and my eye teeth are huge.

Plus smiling ages you. I look 30 when i'm 46
