you know you've made it when your words becomes someone else's signature

I have read a lot of incredibly funny and/or insightful comments here on ATOT over the years. For many years my sig was "Quote of the Week" where I'd list the quote and credit the author. It was a fun thing to do, but maintaining it was a PITA. So it went from "quote of the week" to "quote of the month" then I just took it out entirely.

Yeah, I just keep the funniest quotes I've seen on ATOT in my sig, replacing them as I see better ones. IMO the 2nd one in my sig is the best.

Harvey's rant about troubleshooting is great too; I cant remember whose sig it's in though.

I used to have a very funny sig quoted from I forget who......but the mods said it was unacceptable and I had to change it. Tokk them a few months to say something though.

It had something to do with there being no levels of gayness, if you had a dick in every hole and one in each hand it makes you no more gay than just giving your buddy a handjob....something to that effect

The last time I complained about being quoted in a signature, that person updated the signature with my complaint lol.

I don't think I've ever had the honour of being in someone's sig. I'm more of a quantity over quality guy, so it's understandable why.

I peaked on this forum when I had two different people sig-quote two different posts of mine around 2006. Since then it's been straight downhill.

Sig quotes are profound, retarded, or funny. I rarely post anything that fits into any of the three, so you probably won't see anything I've said in anyone's sig.

If you want to be quoted in signatures the path is clear. Say about a million of the most stupid things you can possibly imagine, collect them all in a book and call it a religion. 2000 years later you'll be in thousands of signatures.
