Maybe I'm just lucky (I'm certainly blessed to have what I have) but at 44 years old, I feel like I'm living in the best time of my life.
x2, in my upper 30s.

I started doing Tai Chi a few years ago to help with chronic pain and its crazy good. its the fountain of youth no joke.

All a matter of perspective.Nothing is more amusing than people several decades younger than you complaining about being old.
I'm over sixty but still consider myself on the upward curve of life, at least intellectually. There is still plenty of new experiences left ahead of me.
BTW-using the WWII measure-for me more time had passed by the time I finished elementary school.
Happiness depends entirely on attitude and perspective. I really enjoy my balance of money and responsibility right now and wouldn't want to go back to college. Others feel empty without the predefined social structure. Part of maturing is realizing who you want to spend your time with and why.

My bro and nephew are/were taking wing chun. The nephew quit after a few months because he felt like the class was the instructor's punching bag and not students.

I remember when I thought 25 was old. 60 is looking pretty good right now.

I'm sorry if college was the best part of your life. It should be the beginning, not the end.
Fondly.ya man I hear ya on the knees. I grew up with Osgood Shlatters and its made my knees a problem forever. Yoga and tai chi are very similar when it comes to body movement and whats good for you. Try some yoga man. Remember my thread about yoga pants?![]()
Things could be better but they sure could be worse.
QFTThings can always be worse. Seems like there's a cap on the top end of the scale, but the bottom end is infinite :^D
Not soon. The knees aren't hurting.Could be raining.
OMG, I just realized that the statement above also applies to me:
Time between end of WWII to birth of ICF: 25 years
Time between end of ICF's high school career to today: 26 years
D:
Yeah, movies rely too much on CGI now and not enough on models. Models still look better IMO and should be used whenever possible.
Oh, some of the music on classic rock stations. Hilarious! I think Metallica is now "classic rock".
