I go to my food pantry and open a box of macaroni and cheese and find it full of these little freaky black bugs (not roaches). They really look like fleas, but they are not. Must be some bug from wherever craphole third world country Aldi gets some of their products from.

Looks like I got a package full of them from Aldi's and they got into everypackage in there (40 packages or so).

I had to open every box, shake them into the sink and then put the packages into the freezer (a batch at a time) for about four hours to kill them (I hope). Their eggs are hard to see and the young are white.

I kept all the packages that had plastic on the inside that sealed the food. Had to toss out all the pasta, potato flakes, pancake mix, and pretty much anything that was in powder form (probably tossed out $50.00 worh of food).

I love saving money shopping at Aldi's, but I think I am done buying anything boxed from there (I guess I could just buy my canned and frozen stuff there from now on.

What a way to spend your entire Sunday 🙁

Whining over.........

Ouch 🙁

You sure the bugs were from Aldi's? Maybe a crack or hole somewhere in the pantry?

They appeared after a shopping trip there a couple of days earlier and most of them were found mainly in Aldi packages.

Luckly, they aren't anywhere else in the house, but I have never seen bugs like these before and I have lived in several states and in Europe for 3 years.

I am 99.9% sure the Aldi packages were the source.
