If I can search threads by the type they are according to their emoticons. If I was feeling like I wanted to vent, then I can look at the happy ones and go crash the party. If I felt like happy happy, I could go to the mad threads and spread the flowers and puppies and sugary stuff. The things I think of while surfing ATOT.

True, but more often than not, you can still find the true emoticon to depict the true emotions of the thread. Unless somebody is reading this and starts a revolution in applying the wrong emoticons to random threads (which I think would be kinda cool also).
