I've been to Paris, and I have to say that French food is perhaps the most overrated cuisine in the world.
Did you know that most of the sauces the French use to dress their meat were developed to hide the fact that the meat was rotten? I swear, when I visited that must've still been the reason.

Cajun > Creole > American Italian > Italian > American Mexican > American Chinese > * > Authentic Mexican > Authentic Chinese > French
