I'd been getting by on Tylenol (three 500mg's at a time) all day long, & finally decided that I should take some of the Percocet they gave me. I'm actually in a good mood now! First time all day long.

I don't care what it's called, for once today I'm actually feeling halfway decent. I've been an a$$hole to a lot of people today, & I didn't know why. I feel a LOT better now.

I owe Sarah a major apology.

I think the real issue is the Tylenol just isn't strong enough to take the edge off the pain. The Percocet is. Once it heals up, it won't be an issue anymore.

Trust me bro, that stuff gets you a quick addiction. Take it with a grain of salt.

You should be really careful with that, those are REAL drugs, the kind I used to really like cause they mede me feel better. What is your condition that you need to have that type of relief?

Heh its okay shux, he had a wisdom tooth yanked and the dentist gave them to him. Although dont ues more than you need to. And call and apologize to sarah ;) I wonder if I can just be knocked out for a week when I get mine pulled hehe.

Well, do what the dentist says with the salt water, advil (up to 800mg at a time) and keep the &quot;holes&quot; clean and it wont be as painful, just be careful with stuff that strong.... :)

yes, percocet, vicodin, etc, WILL put you in a good mood, are really pleasurable, and nope, aren't even bad for you....
however, for your own sake, just take them for pain, because they are really addictive and withdrawls wouldn't be the most fun thing in the world...that said, if you have any left over here's my address....j/k j/k

I had a wisdom tooth pulled on Friday. I was dumb, &amp; returned to work on Sunday. By the end of the day yesterday I was in worse pain than I had been at any point prior to that. I thought I was over the worst, &amp; was avoiding the prescription pain killers. I was taking Tylenol (All I had besides the prescription stuff) 1500 mg at a time, but it wasn't touching the pain. Two Percocet finally took care of it.

I stayed home from work again today, &amp; I'm going back to the oral surgeon this afternoon. I was dumb last night, &amp; took several drinks from a straw before I realized what I was doing. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Woke up this morning &amp; the pain was worse again, so I called in sick to work.

i had a kidney infection a while a go and the docs perscribed Vicaden for the pain and whoooboy does that stuff rock! really takes the edge off.

I feel your pain! I had mine done years back, and like you I went in to work the next day. Mistake! And yes, the Percocet is a marvelous form of pain management... just remember, the way they make you feel will have to be a fond memory. They won't give you a refill! :D

Hope you heal and feel better soon.

Actually, they're going to give me more, depending on what they decide today when I go back in. I've had to take them two at a time to kill the pain, as one doesn't even touch it. They make me really, really sleepy, though. Which is part of why I didn't go to work. I'm going back to bed, I can't even keep my eyes open to type.

To do the trick you need stuff like Physeptone, Omnapom, Palfium or Dilaudid. Preferably a cocktail of all 4:)
