I saw it in the theatre with my girlfriend at the time and I thought it was ok. She bought the movie (a double VHS tape!) and we tried to re-watch it, but it was a total snoozefest and I could not get through it. I did end up fast-forwarding to near the end where the ship is going down and all the people falling down the deck, that part was awesome!

I was out of the country for two years when that film was released in the US, when I got back Titanic was just hitting the video market.

I thought the movie was awesome, but by that time everyone was sick of it. I was in college and about 8 or 9 girls thought I was watching TItanic for the first time. talk about an easy way to get a date..."What? You've never seen Titanic before?!?!? I just bought the video, come over tonight!" Cha-ching!

It's not one I'd enjoy seeing again. Once in the theater was just right. I can't bare to hear any of those Celine Dion songs again either after my friend bought the soundtrack and forced me to listen to it time and time again.

But, the movie was good. I liked it, well acted by all.
