You know those stories teachers like to tell?

My highschool history teacher told a couple different classes that some time in the '70's to '80's (I can't remember exactly, it's been a few years). Anyway, some time back then Iran was working on testing a nuclear reactor and nobody was really doing anything about it. So, the story goes, Israel got tired of it and blew it up with an airstrike. Does this sound even remotely familiar to anyone else?

cliffs:
(in the '70's or '80's)
Iran has nuclear something
Israel doesn't like it
Israel blows up the offending facility
I can't find anything about this after a quick internet search
