Did something happen to him? Because every time The Matrix is on TNT (or TBS, I forget which), that line is always cut out. The camera pans around the room and everything, but it stops before it reaches the boy, and Neo is then called in to see the oracle.

Did they cut out the shot in the elevator shaft when Neo repeats the line?

Actually the network was forced to remove that scene due to pressure from the F.C.C.W.S.O (folliclely challenged children with spoons origination). They felt that the segment was portraying them in an unpleasant light.

Damn right! Little bald kids eating cereal don't need to be repeatedly reminded of their passing resemblance to Matrix Boy. FCCWSO saved millions of kids needless mental anguish with that move.

So not only is there truly no spoon, but all references to said lack of spoon were erased. This makes the movie more compact, and hence, more efficient.

Kudos to TNT for such an enlightened hack job.

exactly, now as far as everyone is concerned, there really is no spoon at all. according to the gospel of TNT.
