hahah it was -15 here this morning... which at that temp, any sane person doesn't go through drive-throughs.

Did you starve to death or were able you able to overcome the poor design of your window?

I can barely shift the gears in my car (before it warms up) in this cold we are having. -20ish celsius before "wind chill" the last few days.

The pipes to my washer was frozen. It took a few mins for me to get water going, and then to discover that my detergent was a very very thick gel (unheated basement).

You're sick

I had to try all 4 of my car doors before I found one that'd open enough for me to get a finger in to pry it open. The rest needed to be rammed open from the inside.
It's in the single digits here, with wind chills in the negative teens. There's loads of powdery snow everywhere, so you're guaranteed to always get a facefull of windblown snow.

Yeah, that's fun. Sniff real good to keep your nose from dripping, and it freezes shut.

...when your car's automatic window completely shatters at the drive-through when it won't roll down.

Yeah negative 20 (windchill, neg 5 actual) here... Takes a good 15 minutes to be able to shift easily.

LOL! What's wrong with your car?! I walked to work today (a little over a mile) in single-digit temps, with sub-zero wind chill.

Speaking of which, I would like to quote the man, the myth, the legend: Lewis Black.

"Why do we even show the actual temperature any more? What's the freaking point? I don't care what it would feel like under optimal conditions, I want to know what it's going to actually FEEL like."

Brilliant.

I will never move to Wisconsin.
Thank you for the warning. 🙂

I also do not intend to live in Erie, PA whenever I'm through with college.

Come down south sometime. We have rivers down here that flow with liquid water.
