I bought my GTX back in June of last year, 8 months ago to play Battlefield 2 and DOD-S ...

Almost 9 months later....


I am still playing BF2 ... FEAR (imo) not that great... same w/ Q4...


Where are the new games? I was so excited for Oblivion last year but was really disgusted to learn of the delay.... hopefully THAT will be out soon cause it will be what I've been waiting for...

Aside from that though, hasn't it seemed as though essentially nothing great has come out in the last 9 months?

UT2007 is comming this year. Oblivion should come out soon enough as well. Another Command & Conquer game is also on the horizon, but I do not expect it to be out this year.

I play BF2, Dota (WCIII) and CS:S (not as much now). FEAR was OK. Doom3 was awful so didn't try Quake 4. One game that I really liked was Chronicles of Riddick.

I might pick up COD2. I played it at Best Boy the other day and it looked fun. I want Warcraft 4 :(

I don't have any problems but I also play TBS and RTS in addition to FPS. Check out a game review sites - every day it seems new games come.

Stalker oblivion lost in q3 this year. Hopefully to b amazing. especially for those of us of teh eastern european dessent (spelling_)

I dont know what all the fuss is about Doom 3. I thought it was a fun game. Light on the storyline, but overall, I bought Doom 3 for the scares and to blast Satan's spawn into oblivion! I jsut wish there was a flashlight mod out there somewhere.

Quake 4 was a great game too.

Call me crazy, but I enjoyed D3 and Q4 muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch more than HL2. I jsut got so bored with HL2, I wanted to rip my hair out.

FEAR and COD2 were better than those three games.

If you haven't played COD2, get it.

there will be more news on Stalker tomorrow........And its not called oblivion lost anymore, its now shadow of chernobyl. And its now 1st quater 2007:(

p.s. I have become addicted to stalker....the very idea is immense itself and i cant stop thinking about that game. last time this happend was with Far Cry and i was not dissapointed...

A few weeks ago, I started shopping around to pick up a new videocard. But then after I thought about it, I couldn't figure out what for.

I'll take Oblivion on the 360 over the PC. Other than graphics, is UT2k7 going to bring anything new to the table? Same question for C&C.
I've become pretty cynical about PC gaming. There is always so much to look forward to, but when it arrives it just isn't that exciting.

For the fun of it I every now and then go back and play NOLF2 A Spy In Harms Way, that game always puts me in a good mood. ANGRY KITTY FTW ;)

Big maps, a fine-ass engine with nice modding/editing tools.
And it'll be (possibly) the precursor to a whole host of games using the same engine of all types (unless some of those games are released before UT2007)

Yeah, but I'm not going to lay out some cash for a game, because it's engine will be used in future games.

I've played every Unreal game to death. (Well, except Unreal 2... That game blew chunks!) But I've grown weary of the all-too-typical deathmatch. UT2k7 is going to have to have some sort of innovation to keep my interest.

maybe by then i'll save up enough money to build a killer rig to run it at full settings......:)

I still have Quake 4, Age of Empires 3, COD2 and so on to play through, Plus later on Eldar Scrolls Oblivian, Rise of Nations, Quake Wars, HL2 Aftermath, UT2K07 and many more.
I dont like playing games at low settings, hense me waiting the play the already released games I've mentioned on my new XTX :D
