You know how sometimes it feels like there are bubbles in your veins?

i've definitly felt it on my wrists before... obviously not any sort of air bubble (since that'd would make me somewhere in the neighborhood of dead), maybe blood getting past some sort of blockage?

I just felt it in my temple, kinda freaked me out.

+1 for that... never heard of someone feeling air bubbles. If your blood was getting past some sort of blockage, you could be potentially facing a pulmonary embolism or a stroke ( and unless you have risk factors for that, i doubt it alot!)

You have some serious problems if it is blood getting past a blockage... but regardless, that's not how it works anyways, so we know that's not what it is :p

that's what i'd assume it to be. i've gotten it many times myself, and u can sometimes see a little 'pop' on the surface of the skin, but it happens repeatidly until you move or something.

Muscle or venous spasm.

Not sure how many people know this but your veins are muscles, and since they are a muscle they can spasm.

Probably just a valve in your veins. They stop blood from flowing backwards, so sometimes they can become raised and feel like something in your veins.

Uh, no.. I can't say I've ever felt that sensation.

Better start clearing your syringes of air before you shoot up.

The inspiration for Linkin Park's lyrics?
