Not that I was planning on watching it...ever...but I hate people like you who give away movie endings...at least include 'spoiler' in the title...

lol After I posted it originally, I thought the same thing. Then I started reading an article and I lost track of this.
 
its one of my fav movies ever (i'm big on certain chick flicks.)

and the movie would NOT have been 1/2 as good had she not died. its a powerful ending, leaves you depressed but makes you appreciate life more, which was the point of the entire movie.
