Yeah i basically assume all conservatives who speak out against homosexuality are gay, i bet it's like a 50% rate for raging in the closet types.

Randy Boehning isn't gay, his boyfriend is.:p

It's ironic how so many people get polarized over topics like gays & gay marriage and judge politicians solely on their stands on such beliefs but don't even bother to hold them accountable for all the economic policies that have been fucking the American middle class in the ass over the last thirty years.

You have to understand the nutty position that has become big with the "liberal" crowd these days, intersectionality and the Oppression Olympics.

Think of it as a rating of all your traits based on a simple chart. Just add them up and see what your score is. If you have a high number, you have nothing to complain about and are not allowed to criticize anyone. Making fun of you is fair game because that's "punching up". You are not allowed to comment about anyone with a lower score than you, because that's "punching down" and you need to check your privilege, shitlord.

Transexual -10
Black -9
Democrat -7
Homosexual -5
Female -5
Muslim -5
Hispanic -4
Atheist -2
Asian 0
Heterosexual +4
Christian +5
Male +5
White +8
Republican +9
Wealthy +10

Sarah Palin, being a wealthy (10), white (8), Christian (5), Republican (9) woman (-5) scores a 27. She's fair game for almost anybody.

Obama of course cannot be made fun of by anyone. Not even comedians.

It will be interesting to see where Bruce Jenner ends up. She has all the sympathy from the left as an oppressed transexual. But there could still be enough room to make fun of her and get away with it due to being a a wealthy, white Republican.
If Sarah is wealthy then Obama is, too.
Wealthy (10) Male (5) Christian (5) Heterosexual (4) Black (-9) Democrat (-7) scores an 8. Not so far down on the scale.

You're forgetting that he's Muslim, born in Kenya, and a Socialist. The last two don't appear on the scale, but must be worth some boku points.

Wait please explain? I respect that someone may choose to not watch however this is worded so it only applies to Liberals is it ok for conservatives to look at pornography?

What? I made the comment in reference to a criticism of conservatives suggesting that in a different way, many liberals are engaged in a behavior requiring a comparable compartmentalization of information. My point is that one should be careful when throwing stones, that one might at least be open to the suggestion that all of us have act in ways that could possible warrant improvement. I'm not into blanket condemnations. I can and have compartmentalized as well as the next guy. Any stone I throw has my own blood on it in my opinion.

I visit a gun site from time to time and have learned to do my absolute, very best job of avoiding any political discussions because I find the people there to be insane in fairly significant numbers. Not all of them, but certainly more than in P&N.

Well there's good a bad everywhere, but it is true that gun forums are more heavily weighted with ... some crazy shit...

You were sticking a needle in their bubble. They don't like it when the bubble they're floating around in is threatened with a rude poke of a needle called reality.

It would have been just as bad as if you had mentioned that all of their day dreaming about being the badass gun-sling'in root'in-toot'in straight-as-an-arrow-shoot'in hombre with a secret hanker'in for a mud-pack'in session with Steven Seagal was just not going to happen......ever. ;)

Agree with everything except, replace Steven Seagal with Chuck Norris. For him they'd be ready for a reach around...

one of the few times where i'd say moonbeam's rambling about self-hate might be pretty damned accurate.

You missed the part about "Whompingly huge zit on the chin."

Thanks for taking one for the team! I didn't size the pic up because it clearly wasn't worth it...lol

That to me IMO is one of the biggest problems with some religions in that they encourage a sort of self-hate, a self-loathing where you detest the feelings that you have that you believe are contrary to what you have been taught to believe. It's pretty sad seeing people who deny themselves and try to deny others their own humanity and equality, almost as if the more people who go along, forced or not, the easier it will be for them to deal with their own issues.

It's all about an unnatural form of control, not about the natural self-control that a healthy person should have regardless of any religious background.

hehehe that's exactly right. You show people who are out of touch with reality a little dose of the reality they are avoiding and it's like trying to get one of those alien computers on Star Trek TOS to divide by zero, it suddenly starts arcing, sparking and emitting smoke while exclaiming "Warning! Overload! Danger! Malfunction! Does not compute! I do not feel well..."

This has to be a record -- banned in a single day!

And, judging by the kind of posts he was making he was trying to get banned in a day.

Outside of hypocrisy, what really bothers me about this story is that this man was outed by invading his privacy.
Agreed, but if he was voting against gay protections as cover, that's karma. If he was voting against them because of principled belief, fine. But if he's going to be trusted with power, he should be bright enough to figure out that this behavior WILL be made public, whether or not it should be. There are simply too many gay men hating the GOP to ever believe otherwise. Either way, it doesn't look good for him. If someone hacked him, fine, but just as with Wiener there should be no reasonable expectation that one can send pictures of one's junk to strangers and expect privacy.
