didn't it use to tell you what these words were? seriously, i go to post a message but i have a censored word. thats great to know but how about telling me which one so i can fix it.

The most likely candidate is the word "s t a b" which was banned due to an improper usage that was popular in the Off Topic forum... There may be others that I don't know about, aside from the usual expletives.

Oh, BTW, it would be cool to see the bad-word-highlighting thing so we don't have to go on blind assumptions and start deleting stuff at random until it works. 😉

at least it doesn't delete all your text so you have to copy and paste and redo all your formatting like it used to.

There should be an active list that users can read to through to see what words are banned and why instead of guessing what words they can and cannot use.

it does if you use quick reply.

can we get some action on this? when i'm pasting an article or something in it is almost impossible to know what is censored and what isn't

I've passed it on, as any normal software company this change has to go through the normal processes, there won't be another software update until we move to .NET.
