Yea I don't really follow that either. They may have removed it on mild concerns of cancer (may have thought it was stemming from there) or damage, etc. Considering the spleen is right near the site they may have worked on his ulcer, it could have been damaged or affected by the towel camping in that spot for 25 years. Removing a spleen in a 50yo is generally not a huge concern for future health.

weird... that would suck and if in America he already woulda filed suit for 1,239,812,388,591,324 dollars for emotional harm or something stupid.
