I got that stupid popup when I logged in. And it froze my freakin browser. I had something important going in another tab and now I cant get to it because this stupid popup locked up my browser. I can switch tabs but cant do anything else. Please remove this malware from the forums. (Browser is... well I cant tell you what it is because it is frickin locked up... but I think its firefox 8)

Much to my surprise, when I killed the firefox process and then reopened it, The post that I was typing was still there! Browsers sure have come a long way! I used to type all my posts in notepad because I didnt trust web browsers...

there's a configuration in your control panel for that. Click User CP and look around till you find it not sure myself where it is.

User CP --> Edit Options
under Messaging & Notification & Private Messaging there's a check box for pop-ups.
