$1,000,000,000. To build a single car. This is *WAY* more than the auto industry spends to develop a production supercar. The money can only be spent on paying your design and construction teams, on the vehicle itself, and if you don't spend it all during construction, the balance is still usable only for car-related expenses. Fuel, security, garage, repairs, etc.
Some ground rules:
[*]It can't fly
[*]A maximum of one vehicle. It can be articulated like a truck, but it cannot exceed 90ft in total overall length. If over 30ft overall, the vehicle MUST be articulated.
[*]It may not exceed 13ft tall
[*]Some form of internal combustion engine must be utilized. Propane, diesel, LNG, gasoline, methane, it doesn't matter what the fuel is, it just needs to be an ICE.
[*]You can hire any designers or engineers from company currently extant. You can also contract individual parts out to individual companies.
[*]You *CAN* start with a production vehicle and modify it, if that's your thing.
[*]It must be capable of highway travel in the United States. 2 rearward facing mirrors (or cameras), headlights, tail lights, license plate mount (rear only), 45mph minimum top speed.
[*]Your car may not be fueled by dead cats.
[*]There must be AT A MINIMUM, two seating positions.
[*]No teleportation devices.
[*]Please stick to the laws of physics.
[*]Women not included.
