Nice OC... I'd be getting a venice if I had any money...

Aboput the RAM: What kind of problems are you having? Have you tried just changed the divider to 166? Aparently that RAM likes a good deal of volts, so if your board can handle it, I would try t give it 3.0-3.4 V and see what happens.

Won't POST if the memory is more than 220Mhz.

I can get the memory to run faster but I have to really reduced the CPU timing(i.e. 10x250).

Not sure what I've got wrong.

MSI K8N NEO2 PLATINUM
PS Thermaltake 480w
Themaltake Venus 12 cooler
MSI GeForce FX 5600

Have you tried messing with the vDIMM? I don't know the highest voltages a Neo2 can do, but you can probably get 2.8-3.0 or so. Try raising that in the bios and see if that helps any.

Yep, I have. Without looking I think my max is 2.8v

that value ram is good stuff but only with higher vdimm... meaning 3.0+ volts

you are gonna need to do a vmod to get more volts or run with a divider but according to zebo's thread running with a divider ain't too bad.

try running with the 133 divider.... or you can always get some samsung tccd which will let you run 1:1 (no divider) with low volts

I looked and my limit is 2.85v. I was using the 133 divider and that's what was giving me the 190mhz when running at 10x285. I know the memory will do 218 and I think I did that without raising the vdimm.

i dont think you should worry about your ram so much, set it at a low divider, and keep it below 200mhz. then see how high you can get your cpu to go. you can then tighten your latency.

Congratulations on your successful overclock. I hope it serves you well 'til your next upgrade. Short-term OCs are the pits, y0.
