my gf's brother does this weekly. Diabetes runs in his family too.

Wow. Just wow. Sounds like an intellectual giant.

Anyway, it depends on the icing brand, some brands are extremely good, some are way too sweet to eat straight out of the container.

(Note: I don't just buy icing to eat it; however, I do usually finish up the tub when I make a cake.)

I had a fruit tart today. A standard tart crust, with some sort of cream in the middle, and assorted sliced fruit stuck on the side of the mound of cream (think the archetypal ice cream cone style of filling).

The cream was excellent. Slightly sweet, extremely smooth, with a subtle, pleasant aftertaste. Tasted like good.
