Irradiate Research cost increased from 150/150 to 200/200

Valkyrie Missile Damage increased to 6.
Build time decreased from 60 to 50
Movement Speed Increased to that of a Wraith

Battle Cruiser Build time decrease from 160 to 133
Yomato Cannon Research cost decreased from 200/200 to 100/100
Science Facility Build time decreased from 80 to 60.
Goliath Autocannon Range increased from 5 to 6


Protoss

Dragoon Build time increased from 50 to 60
Carrier Base Armor Decreased from 4 to 3
Scout Cost Reduced from 300/150 to 275/125
Psionic Storm Damage reduced from 128 to 112
Disruption Web Duration greatly reduced


Zerg

Hydralisk Speed Enhancement upgrade cost increased from 100/100 to 150/150
Cost of Queens Reduced from 100/150 to 100/100
Spawning Pool cost increased from 150/0 to 200/0
Broodling Research Cost Decreased from 200/200 to 100/100
Lurker Morph cost increased from 50/100 to 125/175 EDIT: this is actually the cost to research Lurker Morph, not for each individual hydralisk.


Ability to record games too, that should be great.

Knowing Blizzard, they will announce Starcraft 2 to be shipped to stores Holiday 2002, but we won't see it until 2004.

same here...try red alert 2; rushes happen less frequently and the games run at a good pace.

but red alert will never havethe balance like bw. 3 races and none dominate another...like you can have long range siege tanks, that will be crushed by guards or carriers/reavers, and carriers suck vs battlecruisers or mass hydras. and ultralisks..well..archons take em well,and they hit too slow for mass marines and medics.

If anything, I don't think these changes are enough ! Protoss are still too STRONG...the hitpoints on the dragoon and the zealot need to be toned down....

I think protoss is balanced. They are slow to produce, and relatively more expensive... can be outnumbered easily

Hey, heads up for anyone wanting extra copies of the game, the Starcraft Battlechest is being sold for $8 tomorrow at CompUSA, you can order online too. Includes, SC, BW and two strategy guides. My freaking brother lent my copies out, so I had to play on burned copies... don't even know what my serial number is anymore...

Yeah, I missed the good old days when the game just came out. Had a game last 4 hours, but the big one was 8 freaking hours!!! My opponent and I mined every freaking source on the map, and it was a huge map too! Stale mate for hours! It was fun though!!! I miss that, that's why I haven't played much since Diablo 2 came out...

I haven't played SC or BW for at least a year and a half. I think my max game time for SC was around 5 hours for a single game. I miss those days when i could just sit there and play SC for hours. Now i'm just playing CS for hours instead. I've tried to get back into starcraft, but it just doesn't work.

DC, it was one of your friends that first introduced me to SC. He installed it on my comp so i'm using his CD Key, and i'm playing off of a burned copy.
