I saw it on Headline News and had to go to work.
I couldn't find a link. I still can't find one.
Anyway it was on a shed door and was about 5 feet long. They said it could have upto 50,000 hornets living in it.
Winter should take care of them.

True story.
I was installing a Primestar at an elementary schoolo here in NC in 96-97ish and there was a hornets nest in the corner of a recessed window just outside the cafeteria just 15 feet from me and I didn't know it until I was almost done. It was about 3/4 times bigger than the one the ViperGTS posted. When I finished I showed the maint. guy since it was about a week before school was to start and he brought out this spray that you stood way back and sprayed over the nest, didn't have to be inside just on it, and the hjornets came rolling out to the ground in a pile. Deader than hell. The pile was about 2 1/2 ft. across and nearly 3 ft. tall. I about passed a brick.
