You gonna drink all of that yourself?

On one hand, Utah supports evolution theory.
On the other - 'dry law'.
Hmmm..

Tough choice. What's the mormon's view on sex?

Utah is the state that used to have a law that bars couldn't serve mixed drinks from a large bottle but that each drink had to come from one of those little "airline" bottles. So behind the counter there were drawers full of little bottles. The idea was that the amount of alcohol served would be uniform and bartenders wouldn't over-medicate (as if). The trouble was that those little bottles are shot and a half each so patrons were getting more booze, not less.

In related news, many bars in Utah are now selling "Really Large Beers"

I think most places already have rules on the books for how big a single serving of beer/wine/whyskey etc. can be. I'm sure there's a story behing this - probably some bar started serving "Really Large Beers" and calling them pitchers to get around the other law.

Though I think they support polygamy IIRC.

not anymore. the LDS church banned polygamy in the 1800's, iirc. only the fringe fundamentalist mormons still practice it, as it is illegal and frowned upon by mainstream mormons.

South Carolina had (still has?) that law.

Yeah, I remember something similar in SC. Anyone know?

Utah is funny.

Please, "members only" clubs? No kegs (the UT highway police do sit at the state border and stop suspicious cars)?

I've grew up there and will probably go back there to raise my family (it's a great place for "family" oriented people) but thank god I moved out to enjoy my college and 20s.
