Tell the GF/Mother and leave it at that. I'm not dad yet, and if she's already a teen I never will be.

the daughter ISN'T 19 if they are calling this spreading of CP. She would be 14-17
I was looking at worst case of the age gap.

did not even look at the CP issue.

Therefore the mother could be a couple of years younger than set out in my scenario

You have to admit, it kind of worked in teaching the teen a lesson? National/international news and all...

Wait a second, he's 31 and his girlfriend already has a teenage daughter? Either he likes older MILFs or this is a trashy as hell couple.

Having a child in your teens does not make you "trashy as hell".

im over 40 and will go through my teenage daughters phones if i think there is a reason to. they know this, and accept it. so i assume they delete the shit they dont want me to see, just in case i check. sometimes teens give you reasons to not trust them, and checking their phone may be a necessary evil. of course, if it were my girlfriends daughter id let her handle it. and if i came across shit like this, she would be the first stop for that pic, not the contacts list. hes a dumbass.

and HS age starts at 13-14 here...

No, but it makes one an irresponsible moron which, to me, is just as bad, imo. Then again I don't believe ANYONE should have children before they're 30. Chances are very high that the parents aren't financially stable enough, and they certainly aren't responsible enough.

Our middle school class president(Class of '98) was pregnant in 8th grade. In fact she was supposed to speak at the graduating ceremony, but I think they got someone else to do it. I don't remember if it was because she could barely walk or if it was out of political correctness.
I heard she got pregnant in high school as well(either 10th or 11th grade, don't remember).

Jesus christ, you are not an "irresponsible moron" for the rest of your entire life if you make a bad choice in your teens.

What fucking fantasyland are you guys living in? Life happens, and a lot of people adjust just fine to deal with it.

Stupid idea, but I think he may have meant to actually teach her a lesson. If so(rather hard to prove Intent), the Courts should go easy on him and treat this as poor judgment rather than Distribution of Child Pornography.

That's the best policy. It isn't "snooping" when you give full disclosure that you can go through their phone/internet logs at any time.

I avoided this as a teenager by building my own computers and paying for my own cable line, and then buying and paying for my own cell phone :p

It's a stupid idea anyway, you don't do that to teach a lesson.

If he just did it to teach her a lesson (which would be fucking retarded), he still deserves jail time for this.

I'd say 6-12 months behind bars is in order.
