Has anyone here had (german) cockroaches and actually gotten rid of all of them? It seems an impossible task!

When I was growing up as a kid, we used to make a game out of killing cockroaches. We'd turn the kitchen lights off and wait about ten minutes. Then after ten minutes we'd flick them back on and just stomp on as many as we could before they all scurried back to their crevices. Yup, I definitely grew up poor. I used to pick the roaches out of my cereal like they were nothing.

OK, that game sucks. 😀

I've bred cockroaches for experiments before and lived an apartment where I used to sleep with them suckers. I'd have to say, the best way to stop them from coming is using the new compound where you line all crevices / openings that they can come through with the poison. It's a bit expensive, so I just lived with them. As long as they touch my computer, I'm fine with it.

Oh geeze. They are the reason I never wanted to live in the city. Now that I am in NYC I am ultra-scared I will see one one day.

Haha, one of my friends subletted an apartment that was supposedly cockroach free. He freaked out when he saw the first roach. He moved out the next day. He even paid two months worth of rent after he moved out because of an agreement. What a loser!

Cockroaches are a blessing... a dellicase sent from above. Just think of it this way... your grocery bills just got lowered dramatically!

I know you're a good chef, but roaches? Geeze, it's a bit crunchy isn't it?

Think of it this way.. crunching on that exoskeleton is excellent for keeping those teeth clean.
