Okay, so when I was about eight years old, we lived in this apartment that I think may have been haunted. I would have this reoccuring nightmare where I would dream that I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. On the way out of the bathroom to go back to bed, something would grab me by the ankles and try to drag me back into the bathroom. At which point I would wake up from the nightmare.

Also, when we first moved into this apartment I got to have my own room. Often times when I slept in this room I would wake up in the middle of the night to find an apparition of some sort watching me from the corner of the room. It was about four feet tall, and resembled what I can only describe as a really wrinkly, tan skinned old man. I would stare at it until I fell back asleep, too afraid to scream.

The eerie part of all this is that I had never told anyone about these experiences until maybe two years ago. My mom was telling me about some of her "ghostly" experiences in her life, so I decided to tell her my memories of living in this apartment. One of my younger brothers was in an adjacent room, not really a part of the conversation, but he overheard what I had told my mom. He rushed in all freaked out, and told us that he remembers the same things happenening to him in that apartment.

I don't know how that could be a coincidence...

I remember one time where I woke up in the middle of the night & couldn't move my body at all. My arms, hands, legs, feet I couldn't move anything. I was struggling hard to but couldn't, after struggling for what seemed to be a few minutes then all of a sudden I could move my body again. I was like WTF?!?! Can't Explain it to this day.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago. I was taking a nap and when I woke up and couldn't move anything. It's like my body was still asleep but my mind wasn't. I'm sure it was just a split second, but it felt like minutes.

I hate it when i wake up and I can't remember where i am. The other night I woke up and couldn't figure out where our 3rd child was...of course we only have two, but at the time it was disconcerting as hell!

Ya its pretty weird the stuff you'll think about right before you fall asleep or while you just woke up. Its like tripping or something.

happens to me couple times a week. feels like someone is laying right on top of me...
ive gotten used to it... i just keep my eyes closed (i can open them if i want) and wait until my body lets me move.

I get sleep paralysis alot. I once woke up and there was a little goblin on the bed next to me. I could only open my eyes half way but i know they were open because i could see that the blinds were partially open and that the sun was streaming in behind the little goblin. He started racing towards me across the bed moving back and forth so fast he was like a blurr and just as he got to me i broke out the paralysis and he disapeered. Scared the crap out of me because it was so damn real. I also had sleep paralysis when i was up on a ski trip with my family. I woke up to see a bunch of aliens messing with my cousins and brother in the same room. I couldnt move to help them though and I was like this for half and hour because i could see the clock changing. Finally the aliens left out the window and i could move again.
